Three routes to a transparent display
Standard transparent LED. An LED array built into a frame or laminated into a glass unit. The mainstream choice for shop windows, showrooms and building façades where the display is a finished, mountable product.
Crystal film LED. A thin, flexible LED film bonded onto glass that already exists. It adds a content layer without replacing the glazing, which makes it the usual route for retrofit projects.
Transparent Micro LED. Micro LED chips on a glass substrate — the highest image quality of the three, and the route we are currently qualifying with our manufacturing partner.
What we need before quoting a transparent project
- Glass and opening dimensions — width, height, and whether the glazing already exists.
- Viewing conditions — indoor or outdoor, closest viewing distance, and how much daylight hits the surface.
- Mounting and service access — frame, structural fixing, power routing, and how the panel is reached for maintenance.
- Content and timing — what will be shown, and when the display has to be on site.
Indoor projects
If the screen does not need to be see-through, our indoor range is specified with published data: five COB fine-pitch models from P0.78 to P1.875, plus an indoor Micro LED model at P0.7.
