Glass LED Video Panel — Display Built Into the Building Envelope
A glass LED video panel is a laminated architectural glass unit with the LED circuit sealed permanently inside the interlayer. Unlike adhesive film, the LEDs are part of the glass itself, so the panel is structurally rated, weatherproof on both faces, and can be specified as a genuine building material. This is the product architects choose when the display has to survive twenty years on the outside of a building.

Why Specify Laminated LED Glass
- It is a building product, not an add-on. The panel replaces a conventional glazing unit, so there is no visible bracket, no cable tray on the facade, and no maintenance gantry hanging off the building.
- Weatherproof both sides. Because the electronics are sealed inside the laminate, the panel can sit on the outer skin of the building with no rear enclosure.
- Structural rating. Panels are engineered to project wind load and impact requirements and supplied with test certification for building control sign-off.
- Very long service life. Sealed lamination removes the main failure mode of outdoor LED — moisture ingress into the module.
- Daytime transparency. With the display off, the glass reads as normal architectural glazing, preserving the building’s daytime appearance and the interior views.
Best Applications
Curtain wall media facades, glass canopies and atrium roofs, glass balustrades and stair edges, retail glass boxes, hotel and casino frontages, corporate headquarters lobbies, and transport hub glazing. Because larger pitches offer higher transparency at lower cost, glass LED is especially strong on large-format facades viewed from 15 metres or more.
Design and Engineering Support
Send us your elevation drawings and we will return a panelisation layout showing the panel grid, the resolution you will achieve, total power load, cable routing, and the recommended pixel pitch for the intended viewing distance. We work directly with facade contractors and glazing subcontractors, and can supply panels to the glazier’s schedule with matching edge details and fixing systems.
Installation
Panels are installed by the glazing contractor using standard curtain wall fixing methods. Power and data are run through the mullion cavity, and each panel connects with a weatherproof quick-connect at the frame. A single distribution cabinet drives a large facade area, and content is updated remotely over LAN or 4G.
Request a Quote
Provide your facade dimensions, viewing distance, wind load zone and whether the panel is inside or outside the thermal line. We will return a technical proposal with panelisation drawing and delivered price within 24 hours.
